Woke up again to the magnificent view of my grand pyramid, sat out and admired it for a while before heading off to breakfast, where once again we got the best seat in the corner of the restaurant, air conditioned and all.
The corner seat has of course the view of the great pyramid 🙂

We asked for extra hot coffee for they usually serve you up luke warm coffee, so we were all set , now off to get breakfast where there is all international foods to choose from, I shall have a omelette today , Tony is right at home being able to choose all his favourites 🙂

We sat for a while enjoying just talking , drinking more coffee and looking out at the pyramids.

We then thought we would venture to the reception area so I could look at the shops where I could look for more Egyptian pieces to add to my collection .
I saw a couple of pieces that I liked but thought they where definitely over priced.
So I thought I will have more of a think about it.

Back to our room where I see I could have a spa so
Tony called up and there were no spots left due to high season 🙁

So I think I shall take some time to just play my game for a bit.
After approx 1 hour later the phone rang and there was a cancellation, so I’m off to the spa, to get a back massage and foot massage, which was very relaxing…and enjoyable 🙂

Whilst I was having my spa Tony had gone back to the reception area to enquire more about the pieces that I had wanted.

After having a rest at our room we then went back to reception to the shop where I had liked the Egyptian pieces and Tony was bartering and wow he got them down from 2200 Egyptian Pounds for 2 pieces to 1000 Egyptian Pounds and with a camel thrown in as well…(well done Tony) 🙂

We then went and sat in the reception area and had a coffee and took more photos of my beloved Pyramids. 🙂

Tony had said he didn’t feel that good after the coffee…

Back to the room to get ready for our dinner which was to be at the Indian restaurant, we had perfect views of the pyramids but I was not feeling the best I had started to have stomach aches.
I ate some tea but not a lot and had said to Tony that I just wanted to head back to room as my stomach hurt.
The lady in the restaurant made me a drink that she said would help my stomach called Lassi made up of yoghurt and honey, it was very nice.

After a lay down for a while my stomach ache went away.

Tomorrow we leave to head back to Athens I had the best time at the Marriott Mena House….

Dreams really do come true!
