Woke up at 6.30 and opened up the doors to our luxurious balcony. The water views at Villa Lukas are just beautiful, the dark blue water is a perfect backdrop against the white buildings of Santorini.
Whilst waiting for our breakfast to arrive I thought I would give some of our clothes a quick wash and hang them out, for the sun should have them dried fairly quickly. Washing done and just in time for our breakfast has arrived and Tony is telling me he is cold, but I tell him c,mon whimpy man it’s quite ok out where the sun is starting to come through to our balcony. So with that we had our breakfast out looking at the sparkling blue water from our balcony.
We cleaned up a bit then sat out side for a while on the stretcher lounges and just enjoyed doing nothing . We then thought we shall go for a walk, we don’t have to go to far for everything is just across the road or just down the road, so we had lunch today at a nearby restaurant where we ordered moussaka and chicken gyros washed down with bottled water.
After lunch we came back to make the most of our beautiful room with the view and sat back out on our balcony and had a couple of JD,s and Tony thought he would have a couple of beers instead.
We sat out for as long as we could for the sun gets very warm and then we came inside for a while to get out of the burning sun. I showered and we headed out for dinner at approx. 7:30pm for the sun will be going down shortly and everyone will be madly snapping photos to capture the beautiful sunset.
This will be our last night here at Santorini, we have enjoyed living like rockstars and we hope to return again one day.
